the perfect T-Day meal would be the traditional one… Roasted Turkey, Fresh veggies steamed. Sweet potatoes
mashed potatoes, Stuffing (sage sausage of course)and
Copious amounts of both biscuits and gravy…
Not a big fan of cranberry anything, but it would be there too.

  2. Clayton says:

No. But I’m sure that I don’t know half the things I’m called behind my back.

  3. Nan` says:

I do have a nickname. It is Nanners.

  4. Tammy Twotone says:

    No, I don’t.

  5. Bobbie says:

    I don’t either…but I’ll second Clayton’s response.;)

  6. Marguerite says:

Many, many. Each of my 5 siblings call me by a different nickname, as did my mom have her special name for me, as do several friends. Either everyone hates my real name, or all my peeps are possessive. No complaints. I like every name I’m called.

    • Marguerite says:

Hey, my name is Marguerite, too! I was called “Greet” a bit as a kid, both as an epithet-y antagonistic name or just as a teasing nick-name. And because I’ve been so obnoxiously insistent that friends use my full name in my adult life (it’s my mother’s name, her grandmother’s, a nieces, etc), over the years friends have taken to calling me that again! Now, I use it on internet-y things. #Acquiescence.

  7. I was teased and bullied a lot as a kid. Among other things, I was teased about my last name, “Pawlitschek” (pronounced “paula-check) Don’t ask me why; bullies are dumb. Anyway, a good friend of mine as an adult heard about this, and gave me my nickname: JJ Power-chick. :)

  8. lynn says:

I have 2 nicknames! My sister calls me “Tutti”, as she could not say sister growing up. My mother, grandparents and close friends call me “Lynnie-poo”, obvious reasons.

  9. brenda says:

I have a few: BT (my initials), babygenius (or babyG for short), homey the clown (or homina), tommy or Tina the clown, doogie, and stick. You can see some of the nickname game played out in this video: http://vimeo.com/20951210

  10. My parents, grandmother and aunts and uncles called me Misty Cotton when I was a little girl. My hair, skin and eyebrows were white.

My byline – and given name – is C. Mist Harman. My newspaper reporter pals call me Sea Spray or Ocean Spray.

  11. Gin says:

Yes, I have several nicknames and I answer to them all. It’s actually helpful in my large family because everyone seems to have a different variation on my name so it makes it easier for me to know who is speaking to me! Kinda like different ringtones for different people on my phone. ;)

  12. Dorinda says:

many ways to remake dorinda, and each is specific to a time in my life or a person; dori, dorito, rindle, dirndl, rin, rindy, windy, rindmeister, rinds, osty and on and on.
