K8T Asks: If you were a beauty pageant contestant, what clever ploy would you use to get yourself some extra press?

Kate wants to hear from you! The next question of the week, straight from Kate, is: "If you were a beauty pageant contestant, what clever ploy would you use to get yourself some extra press? The Pepper Spray Strategery has already been used."

I would show my love for the audience by reminding them
of my appreciation for the American Middle Class.

To the judges I'd remind them that the American Middle Class is the Largest Customer of the Capitalist World. And in a friendly and quizzical way pose the question: What happened to the time when we wined and dined our largest customers?..and certainly did not want to see them decline (?)

Still others, who either have amnesia, or were born after the 1970s* one may be able to appeal to them through psychological abuse, which they are likely to interpret as "strong."

But ya never know...voting fellow team members off the island, and holding up Atlas Shrugged..as a reflection of ones moral values, seems to work in a world where Ronald Reagan's educationcuts are coming home to roost.

Either way, a pale pink cotton blouse looks great.

I'd get massive press by screaming like a banshee from finding myself living a nightmare of being in a beauty pageant, jumping in a car and burning rubber into the sunset. I would then of course, release a book that would shoot to the top of the new york times best selling list detailing my journey from thinking citizen, to brainwashed debutante, and back again.
and remember: Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held it's ground.

The subtle approach- speak in 3rd person at all times, especially when talking about myself.
The not so subtle approach- crowd surf

I'd streak.
