I loved Susan Gabriel's new book Seeking Sara Summers. She says it's like Shirley Valentine Meets Ellen under the Tuscan Sun. A great story, well written and transformative. Definitely a good beach read, with a bonus of superb writing.

My favorite book this summer was "Water for Elephants"....a great read, well written, and very amusing.
I highly reccommend it!
